The code hasn’t arrived
Codes come from plotish by email and usually land within a minute. Check spam and promotions, and check the address is spelled right. Then tap Send code again. Only the newest code works.
The code doesn’t work
Codes are six digits and expire after 10 minutes. Request a fresh one and use it straight away.
goodreads
Bringing your books in
On the Goodreads website, open My Books, then Import and export, then Export library. In plotish, go to Library, Your records, Import, and choose the file. Your shelves, ratings and dates come across as they are. Books already on your shelves are skipped.
Taking them back
Library, Your records, Export. Missing ISBNs are looked up first, then your library is bundled into files Goodreads accepts. Upload each one under My Books, Import and export.
scanning
Scan a cover, a shelf or a screenshot from Reading or Browse. If a book doesn’t match, try the barcode, or a straighter photo in better light. Camera access can be turned back on in Settings, plotish.
fit scores
Fit compares a book on five facets (pace, weight, prose, plot or character, and tone) with the range of books you finish and rate well. It sharpens as your library grows, so a fresh account with few books gives rougher numbers.

Signing out
Library, Your records, Sign out. Your library stays on your account.
Deleting everything
Email support@plotish.app from the address you sign in with. Your account and library are removed within 30 days. Export first if you want a copy. More in the privacy policy.
